I haven’t posted in forever and I feel horrible about it, it’s just that school has taken over my life!
It’s a long weekend though, so I decided to take a break and do nails inspired by my most recent obsession: Galaxy! I like how subtle these came out, and I just had to use Serum No. 5’s Starry Nights for the star shaped glitter!
Is anyone else as obsessed with galaxy as I am? I found a phone case on Etsy that I’m really tempted to buy, and I also really need want a galaxy sweater and leggings! I would have no idea what to wear them with but they’re just so pretty!

a.k.a galaxy nails without even trying. Boom.

Shown is two coats of Starry Nights over a navy blue base. I was honestly so excited when I saw this polish because it’s my first polish with novelty glitter. Is that what it’s called? Well that’s what I’m going to call it because it sounds better than “glitter that isn’t shaped like what most glitter is usually shaped like”. Starry nights is described as having “silver holographic stars, off white, gold, lavender and sapphire glitter in a shimmering deep blue base.”
Oh my goodness beautiful. That’s all I have to say.
Starry Nights can be purchased here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Serum No. 5 on Facebook, Tumblr, and Etsy. Also, every month Serum No. 5 will make a donation to a charity of her choice in an amount equal to 20% of the proceeds of all lacquers sold. The November charity is No Kid Hungry.

![With all of the crazy weather we’ve been having in New England lately, I thought it was only appropriate to do nail art featuring Serum No. 5 Stormy Weather.

Stormy Weather is a lovely polish featuring “micro white glitter, purple glitter, navy hex and silver lightning bars in a holographic gray base”. It’s from the Fall collection and I’d say it’s one of my favorites out of the bunch. I really love the blue/purple/grey combination. Shown is two coats over a navy blue base.

Have I ever mentioned that striping tape is a bitch? Because it is. I love the effect it gives though, so I’m willing to put up with it.

Now for the review!
Mint to Be is a polish that I immediately loved, but for some reason I never got around to wearing it until now. I knew it would look lovely on it’s own, but I wanted to incorporate it into some nail art! This polish has a mint base with micro silver, mint, and holographic glitter along with silver hex glitter. Shown is one coat over two coats of Ancient Jade. It’s a bit gritty due to all of the micro glitter but it’s nothing a top coat can’t fix!
I’m sure you all know by now that mint is my favorite color, so this polish and I were Mint to Be! Oh ho ho I’m so clever.

![I’m sorta back! In addition to life stuff I also have to get ready for college and I don’t have much time for nail art right now so it’s going to be a little boring around here for a while. I’m going to try and at least keep up with reviews though.
Moving on, these are the nails I rocked for Lollapalooza! I had originally meant to do something a lot crazier but then it was 1 am so crazy wasn’t happening and I went with studs and glitter because those are my two loves.
All my nails have a base of Orly Ancient Jade. My thumb, ring, and pinky fingers are topped with Rainbow Honey Siren Song (one of my all time favorites) and my index and middle fingers have Serum No. 5 Girl’s Gotta Eat.

This is the second post that has included Girl’s Gotta Eat, and because my first post was already reviewing something else I wanted to wait to give it its own review post. So here it is! I’m also going to start doing reviews after the “read more” thing just because I tend to get wordy and I want to make my posts more dashboard friendly. :)
Anyways, this is my third review for Serum No. 5, a fairly new indie polish brand. Girl’s Gotta Eat is a glitter topcoat featuring small and micro gold glitter, small holographic glitter, and medium sized silver glitter.
Pictured is three fairly thick coats, all three of which went on like a breeze! I was going for as much coverage as possible, which can be hard to do with some glitter topcoats without it feeling like you have a million layers of polish on your nails.
Girl’s Gotta Eat worked great with the gradient that I first used it with also. When I do glitter gradients I really like using polishes that have micro glitter because I think they help to make the gradient look a lot smoother.
