It’s technically still New Year’s so let’s just pretend that these are what I had on my nails the whole time.
Totally didn’t do my nails then immediately mess them up last night.
Nope.

  2. This was my most successful water marble yet! The three colors I picked at first all worked, I never had to start over on a design, and I never had to redo a nail!

The colors I used are Sinful Colors Unicorn, China Glaze High Hopes, and Orly Butterflies.

Glitter gradient with Serum No. 5 Spring Into Love and China Glaze Go Go Pink, because who doesn’t love a glitter gradient?
Spring into love is a “pink glitter polish with opalescent flakies, micro shimmer, gold glitter, and fine purple glitter.” It’s also described as a pink version of Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Dream, which I think is a pretty accurate description. It’s definitely a gorgeous polish!
Spring Into Love can be purchased here. If you have any questions regarding her polish you can find Serum No. 5 on Facebook, Tumblr, and Etsy. Also, every month Serum No. 5 will make a donation to the Make A Wish Foundation in an amount equal to 20% of the proceeds of all lacquers sold.
This polish was sent to me for review. All opinions expressed in this post are my own.

I made a jelly sandwich and it was delicious.
For those that don’t know a jelly sandwich is where you layer glitter between coats of a jelly polish to make the glitter look like it’s suspended in the polish.
The jelly is China Glaze Ride the Waves and the glitter is Serum No. 5 Thanks for the Memories (which is really just Black Paradox and White Paradox mixed together).
(Also, this picture is from my phone! Not too shabby, right? Still haven’t found my camera charger.)

Sorry not sorry I just really love black and white glitter. Pictured is Serum No. 5 Thanks For the Memories over China Glaze Ride the Waves, which is a wonderful blue jelly. Serum No. 5 has a black glitter polish (Black Paradox) and a white glitter polish (White paradox) and Thanks For the Memories is just the two mixed together! Thanks For the Memories isn’t for sale but the other two are. :)
Pictured is one thick coat of Thanks For the Memories so you can see that it’s packed with glitter of all different shapes an sizes. In addition to the black and white glitter there is also micro holo glitter!

I’m going to a Coldplay concert tonight! I’ve known about this since December and since then I’ve been thinking about how I would do nails inspired by their newest album’s cover!

Originally I was was going to do a ton of sponging and splattering but then I remembered about these grunge effect nails by Nails Adored. I really like the way that my nails turned out! I think that you can still see how they are inspired by the album cover even though they’re not exactly “grafitti” nails.
The colors I used are sally Hansen Black Heart, Kleancolor Neon Aqua, Sinful Colors Dream On, China Glaze Electric Pineapple, and Essie Orange, It’s Obvious!

It feels like I haven’t done nail art in forever! (Probably because I haven’t… whoops.) I really like these though! I especially really like how all my nails are normal shaped and then there’s my middle finger and it’s all like “I’m different!” and I’m all like “Y U BREAK? D:”
Okay I’m gonna stop now. Whenever I write posts past midnight they always end up really weird.  The base color is China Glaze High Hopes except the color is really off in the picture.

Blue + Glitter = my weakness. I ordered China Glaze Alice Dorothy Who? somewhat on a whim, and I am so glad that I did! It’s a blue jelly filled with blue and silver glitter, and it’s just so pretty! There is one coat on my thumb and ring finger over two coats of Zoya Petra, so I can’t say how many coats it would take before there was no visible nail line, but my guess would be not too many. On my other fingers is a matte glitter gradient with Alice Dorothy Who? and Petra.
Edit: Got the name mixed up with a similar OPI polish (Absolutely Alice). Sorry ‘bout that.
