As much as I wish I could paint my nails on a regular basis, that is unfortunately not possible. Both school and work revolve around food which means that I have to keep my nails bare. The little free time I do have goes towards volunteering (in a kitchen) and trying to figure out my life because being an adult is hard.
This isn’t really new as I haven’t posted in quite a while and even then my posts were sparse. I just thought an official post explaining why I never post would be a good idea. I’m not going to delete this blog, and I might post something every once in a while.
Here’s the point where I shamelessly self promote myself: I do have a personal blog, and if anyone would like to keep up with me there that would be rad. I reblog a lot of food and cats and pretty men and other pretty things in general.

I might be obsessed. I also might have gone a little crazy when I went to Urban Outfitters with the intention of only buying Virgin. (Also has anyone else noticed that tumblr really screws up image quality? I feel like this is a recent thing.)
Studs on studs on studs featuring Serum No. 5 Barely There
Barely there is a lovely sheer nude polish featuring silver glitter of varying sizes. Shown is three coats but I think it looks a lot better if you stick to one or two coats so it’s still sheer. And like all of the other Serum No. 5 polishes I’ve tried, the formula was great.
As always, I’m obsessed with BornPrettyStore studs. They’re made out of metal and always feel really sturdy on my nails. If you ever want to purchase anything from their store you can use the code “UGJ61” for 10% off your entire order, and shipping is always free!

Glitter v-gaps featuring Serum No. 5 Girl’s BFF
Girl’s BFF is essentially the silver version of Girl’s Gotta Eat. It has silver glitter in varying sizes and I have to say that I really like it. I love glitter polishes that are all the same color just with different shapes and sizes, and because this one is silver it goes with essentially any polish! This polish isn’t too thick so it’s very easy to add multiple layers without worrying if your nails will ever dry. I have about three coats on my index and middle fingers and then I just sort of globbed it on the other nails because I got lazy.

I haven’t posted in forever and I feel horrible about it, it’s just that school has taken over my life!
It’s a long weekend though, so I decided to take a break and do nails inspired by my most recent obsession: Galaxy! I like how subtle these came out, and I just had to use Serum No. 5’s Starry Nights for the star shaped glitter!
Is anyone else as obsessed with galaxy as I am? I found a phone case on Etsy that I’m really tempted to buy, and I also really need want a galaxy sweater and leggings! I would have no idea what to wear them with but they’re just so pretty!
It’s technically still New Year’s so let’s just pretend that these are what I had on my nails the whole time.
Totally didn’t do my nails then immediately mess them up last night.
Nope.
It feels both nice and weird having my nails painted after them being completely bare for over a month. Thankfully my index nail has almost grown back completely, I give it another week or two before it’s back to normal length. I don’t really have much to say about these other than that they were inspired by a design I saw by Lucy’s Stash!
This was my first attempt at geometric nails which is surprising considering how much I like them / how long I’ve been wanting to do them. The colors I used are Essie Navigate Her, Sinful Colors Dream On, and Serum No. 5 Call It a ‘Treuse (I will shamefully admit that it took me longer than it should have to figure out this name).
Call it a ‘Treuse is a “chartreuse polish with micro green and chartreuse glitter and multi sized fuchsia glitters.” I think the color combo is interesting and I definitely haven’t seen another polish like it.
