Gesundheit is a German word that has multiple meanings all relating to health (health, fitness, healthiness, wholesomeness). Basically when I can’t up up with a cute name for a blog my second choice is something in German.
The main goal is to post about what I…
SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION
Basically I’ve just been accepted to my school’s nutrition program so this blog is featuring what I learn in class and make in labs along with pictures of food, recipes, random health facts, news articles, yada yada. I also need people to follow so if you think you know of any blogs that relate to mine please let me know!
As much as I wish I could paint my nails on a regular basis, that is unfortunately not possible. Both school and work revolve around food which means that I have to keep my nails bare. The little free time I do have goes towards volunteering (in a kitchen) and trying to figure out my life because being an adult is hard.
This isn’t really new as I haven’t posted in quite a while and even then my posts were sparse. I just thought an official post explaining why I never post would be a good idea. I’m not going to delete this blog, and I might post something every once in a while.
I’m sitting in the study room listening to people talk about cutting their cuticles and I want to run over to them flailing my arms screaming about how you’re not supposed to do that but I don’t know how well that would go over.
Probably not well.
Just so everyone knows, you are not supposed to cut your cuticles. It can lead to nasty things like infections and they also never look as nice as when you push them back.
I probably put 2% of the effort that I put towards my nails into how my toes look. For that reason I pretty much wear the same color throughout a whole season, so my favorite colors for each season are
Spring: China Glaze High Hopes
Summer: Lex Cosmetics Cayman Cabana
Fall: Zoya Petra
And I’m not sure about winter right now because I have no idea what I wore last year. Probably red.
Just in case anyone was wondering. Probably not, but
Just dropped my cleanup brush into my bottle of acetone…
I knew this would happen one day.
Update: Unfortunately the bottle was too tall for me to retrieve the brush with tweezers. I did get it back, but I had to pour out the rest of the acetone. Fortunately there was only about 1/4 of the bottle left and it was pink and opaque, so it was probably time for me to get a new bottle anyways. And all of the paint was stripped from the brush which is really nice. :)
